Meet our Pastors
This is the team of WCF pastors responsible for helping our congregation grow in grace and faith.

Jake Gibson
Senior Pastor
I grew up in the church with a family that served God relentlessly. I graduated from a Christian high school and even went to Christian college to further my education and maybe even answer the call to ministry. Yet, when I entered my early 20's I felt empty and void of the fulfillment I thought I was promised from God's Word and I found myself running from the call I know God placed on my life. I carried that emptiness into my late 20's and I was miserable! Was I even saved?   That all changed when I asked God for an answer and he spoke loud and clear! I finally started studying, asking and understanding the Truth from God's Word, and at first, it wrecked me!! Then I began walking a path of restoration and I learned how to finally be a man and how to lead the way God's Holy Spirit was directing and I learned to LOVE! The energy I felt once that switch happened has been special.   My passion in ministry is to share my stories of how God has influenced my life and has shown me a path to true and lasting happiness that goes far beyond a prayer of accepting Jesus and into a life of fulfillment by growing my faith and learning to receive and reflect God's amazing Grace. I love the man God is helping me to be as I lead my amazing wife Ashley and our three incredible children Carter, Macy, and Silas.   As a family we love hanging out together embracing new experiences, eating amazing food and inviting others in to share in our favorite experieces.

Derek Vercimak
Internal Associate Pastor
I have the privilege of being the internal associate pastor where my focus is on shepherding the members of our body. Growing up I worked hard to live a flawless life. My strategy to be a good Christian was to continuously add more laws and limitations to how I lived, so that I couldn’t be shown where I was wrong. This didn’t turn out so well because I became overwhelmed, unhappy and felt like I would never be good enough. I wanted so much more out of life. I desired to know who God created me to be, instead of identifying myself by what I had or what I did. It was here, through Winneconne Christian Fellowship, that I learned about my uniqueness and how I could enjoy living life again by allowing God to work through me for the benefit of others. I have been laughing more (even at myself) and having fun. Even though there are still times I make mistakes and am flawful, I use them as examples of how to move forward and live a life of purpose for serving God and man. My passion is to provide next steps for the sheep of our body to make progress in their life by building a solid foundation based on God and His Word. As I share how truth has impacted my life, they are able to apply it to transform their thinking and enhance their interactions. My wife, Maria, is a great partner who supports the work and ministry I get to do here. We enjoy being active with the Romeos and Calicos Square Dance Club. I really like playing bass and am ready to play a round of mini golf. You may even see us walking around town so feel free to wave or share a friendly honk with us.

Ty Storm
Operating in the role of External
Associate Pastor
I was raised outside the church, outside religion, outside the knowledge of God. I was an atheist and a humanist believing that being a good person was the best goal in life, that ultimately that's all there was.  When I was 23 years old, I was evangelized to. The knowledge, understanding, and Truth of God was revealed to me. God's nature, His ways were presented to me in ways that unlocked a universe of God's doctrine in impressive and powerful ways that revolutionized my life. As I progressed through attending a "man night", a night that taught me how to apply God's doctrine in my life to such a degree that I could intentionally justify God, my faith grew. My faith grew so much that I asked Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior, to save my soul and direct me by His Grace.  Since then, I have dedicated myself to church and ministry. Grounded in a deep understanding of the gifts God has given me, the value I have, and the Purpose God has before me, I am pressing into expanding His kingdom though leading and loving. My greatest desires are that people would know and live out their God given Purpose, expanding God's Kingdom, and agreement between churches.
